The Evening Value Service – Day 16
Sgt Tony continues his review of The Evening Value Service
Hi All
Today is 16th June and Day 16 of our review. We started this review with a bank of £500 and are using £10 per point on a level stakes basis.
Kieran provided us with 6 selections today:
18.35 | Lingfield | Tigers Home | 3.25 | Generally |
18.35 | Lingfield | Shirleys Pride | 15.00 | Sky, Boyle |
19.05 | Lingfield | Huzzah | 9.00 | Generally |
19.35 | Lingfield | Cahala Dancer | 5.00 | Generally |
19.35 | Lingfield | Volcanic Jack | 12.00 | BSQ, 888, Coral |
20.35 | Lingfield | Opus Maximus | 7.50 | Sky, Sporting |
Unfortunately, all six selections lost, leaving us with a loss for the day of £60 or 6.00 points at level stakes.
Our starting bank for this review was £500 and the brought forward bank was £431, so, with the loss today of £60 or 6.00 points at level stakes, that means that our closing balance at the end of Day Sixteen is £371, giving us a loss to date of £129 or 12.90 points at level stakes.
I should have pointed out earlier in the review that I have taken no account of any commission in these results, as the majority (if not all) of the bets will be placed with bookmakers rather than on the exchanges, so there is no commission to account for. Kieran always names the bookies that are offering the prices on his selections, so this is the correct way in my view. If you are using the exchanges to obtain better prices, remember to deduct your commission.
Kieran also occasionally will benefit from a Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) bookie if the prices of his selections drift out in the market, although this has only happened once so far in the review, as the prices on his selections tend to drift in, rather than out.
Please let me know if you need any further information about the service.
All the best
Sgt. Tony
