The Evening Value Service – Day 55

The Evening Value ServiceSgt Tony continues his review of The Evening Value Service

Hi All

Today is 25th July and Day 55 of our review. We started this review with a bank of £500 and are using £10 per point on a level stakes basis.

Kieran gave us 9 selections today:

17.50 Sandown Ssafa 17.00 Boyle, SJ
18.20 Sandown Danz Choice 7.00 Boyle
18.55 Sandown Monsieur Rieussec 7.50 Sky
18.55 Sandown Lightning Launch 21.00 Bet365, SJ
20.05 Sandown Jacob Cats 2.75 Coral, SJ
20.05 Sandown Pendragon 19.00 VC
19.45 Leicester Saytara 2.88 VC, Coral
20.20 Leicester Lily In Pink 7.00 VC, Coral, SJ
20.20 Leicester Sand Skier 11.00 Bet365, Boyle, Coral

Danz Choice and Lily in Pink both won at 7.00, Jacob Cats won at 2.75 and the other 6 selections lost, giving us a profit for the day of £67.50 or 6.75 points at level stakes.

Our brought forward bank from last time was £381.70 so, with the profit today of £67.50 or 6.75 points at level stakes, our closing balance at the end of Day Fifty Five stands at £449.20 giving us a loss to date of £50.80 or 5.08 points at level stakes.

Only a short while left now until the first ‘watershed’ point of the review at 56 days, where we have to decide whether to fail the system or carry on to 84 days, after allowing for the ‘non-betting days’ on Sundays. I have calculated that we have already had 8 Sundays with no evening racing, 2 ‘Jubilee’ days with no evening racing and 2 days where racing was abandoned during the deluge (hard to imagine in this heat wave!). That means we will add at least another 12 ‘no betting’ days onto the total trial before we have to make a decision to continue or not.

Please let me know if you need any further information about the service.

All the best

Sgt. Tony
