The Evening Value Service – Day 63
Sgt Tony continues his review of The Evening Value Service
Hi All
Today is 2nd August and Day 63 of our review. We started this review with a bank of £500 and are using £10 per point on a level stakes basis.
Kieran gave us 7 selections today:
18.10 | Ffos Las | Blue Tiger | 3.00 | Tote, Boyle, Betfred, SJ |
19.15 | Ffos Las | Praxiteles | 10.00 | Tote, Boyle, Betfred, Sporting |
20.15 | Ffos Las | Sand Skier | 4.00 | Generally |
20.50 | Ffos Las | Roman Myst | 15.00 | SJ |
18.55 | Epsom | Lizzie Tudor | 9.00 | SJ |
20.00 | Epsom | Avonrose | 13.00 | Bet 365, Tote, Betfred |
20.30 | Epsom | Yojimbo | 2.75 | Generally |
Avonrose won at 13.00 and Yojimbo won at 2.75 but the other 5 lost, giving us a profit for the day of £87.50 or 8.75 points at level stakes.
Our brought forward bank from last time was £866.70, so with the profit today of £87.50, our closing balance at the end of Day Sixty Three is £954.20 giving us a profit to date of £454.20 or 45.42 points at level stakes.
Only a short while left now until the first ‘watershed’ point of the review after 56 ‘betting’ days, where we have to ecide whether to fail the system or carry on to 84 days, after allowing for the ‘non-betting’ days’ on Sundays. I have calculated that we have already had 9 Sundays with no evening racing, 2 ‘Jubilee’ days with no evening racing and 2 days where racing was abandoned during the deluge (hard to imagine in this heat wave!). That means we will add at least another 13 ‘no betting’ days onto the total trial before we have to make a decision to continue or not. Please let me know if you need any further information about the service.
All the best
Sgt. Tony
