Week 2 – ending Sunday 29 March 2015
We are finding two football games per day and making 3 bets, 2 singles and a double on the selected teams to win.
A pretty slow football week means that 3 of the days had no bets. One of my picks on 27 March was the Montenegro v Russia game which ended in a riot. As I won the bet this will count as a double, the only one. I had my first wipeout this week, the only one of the trial so far. It’s still a bit frustrating getting the selections from the website, there always seems to be a few ifs and buts. It is disappointing when the odds on the selections are tiny, and at the other end of the scale there was a game where the selection was supposed to have an excellent chance of winning, but their odds were 6.00. They lost.
I bet on 4 of the 7 days. I had 1 wipeout and 1 double. My losing days cost me 0.95 points and 1.50 points, which led to an overall loss of 2.35 points.
