Week 3 – ending Sunday 5 April 2015
We are finding two football games per day and making 3 bets, 2 singles and a double on the selected teams to win.
I am continuing to have problems with the selections. This morning was a good example of how to waste an hour. Looking at the list it seemed easy, the top two selections were straightforward. I typed them into my spreadsheet and went looking for the best odds. The top game it turned out was being played tomorrow, bugger. It took a bit longer to find the second game in Ukraine, because it was next week, a full 8 days out. Next I had 5 selections on the same mark, but wait, 2 of these were also in Ukraine, and also a week out. I found the game in Serbia ok, but that was in 2 days time. Also in 2 days time was a game in Israel which took a bit longer because I didn’t know that Hapoel Kiryat were also known as Shmona. In the end I got my 2 selections and placed my bets. I could only get odds of 1.57 and 1.55, so we are not going to win much even if we are lucky. I do wonder though, if they can’t get the date right how accurate is the rest of their information.
I bet on 6 of the 7 days. I had 1 wipeout and 2 doubles at 4.45 and 4.16 points, not bad. My losing days cost me 1.13, 1.50 and 1.55 points, which led to an overall profit of 1.43 points.
